Admin Tool

GOAL
-
Designing a Product Comparison Tool:
-
Creating a tool that will enable users to compare products/services within one website.
-
This tool should allow you to compare up to five products simultaneously within one category, presenting photos, names, some main parameters, more additional ones, and optionally full and detailed descriptions.
-
It is crucial that the tool is intuitive and effective, eliminating the need to open multiple tabs and compare products in an inefficient way.
-
-
Designing the Admin Tool for Configuring the Comparer:
-
Developing an administrative tool that will enable companies to easily and intuitively adapt the comparison engine to their specific needs.
-
The admin tool should enable configuration of all aspects of the comparison engine, including the appearance of the comparison table (colors, typography), as well as the parameters of the compared products.
-
This tool should be easy to use, like WordPress and its templates, allowing customization without the need to involve a developer, but with the option for advanced users to paste their own CSS code.
-
PROBLEMS
-
Configuration Complexity:
Providing wide flexibility in tool configuration, while maintaining intuitiveness and simplicity of use. You need to strike a balance between advanced options and ease of use.
-
Versatility and Flexibility Tools:
The tool must be universal enough to enable comparison of various products - from yachts to Christmas tree lighting. This requires designing a system that is flexible enough to handle different product categories and specifications.
-
Optimization for Various Devices:
The tool must be responsive and run smoothly on both mobile and desktop devices. This requires special attention to responsive design and cross-device testing.
-
Integration with Existing Systems:
The tool must be easy to integrate with various e-commerce platforms
and content management systems, which can be a technical challenge.
-
Managing Large Amounts of Data:
The tool will need to efficiently manage large amounts of product data, including images, descriptions, and specifications, which can be a challenge in terms of performance and data organization.
-
Usability and User Experience:
Designing an intuitive user interface that is both visually appealing and functional requires a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.
