Goal
Design and creation of a user interface for a mobile application for the iOS platform, aimed at promoting and supporting blood donation. The application should not only be functional and intuitive, but also stand out with a unique and engaging design. for iOS design
The goal is to understand native elements and interactions in iOS to ensure consistency and intuitiveness.
Best practices

COMPETITOR UX ANALYSIS
UX analysis of competing apps aims to understand what features and interactions are currently available on the market, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and how they can be improved in the context of a new app for blood donors.
As part of the VeinViral app design process, I conducted a detailed UX analysis of apps from various areas that are successful on the mobile market. My goal was to understand the key elements that attract and engage users, as well as identify unique features and solutions that could inspire my design. Featured apps range from health and wellness to popular mobile apps of an entertainment nature to gain a more complete picture of the various approaches to UX design in mobile applications.

PAPER PROTOTYPING
As part of the paper prototyping process for the VeinViral application, I focused on creating a hand sketch of one key screen. This stage allowed me to gain a deep understanding and thinking about the user's interaction with the application, as well as to effectively illustrate the basic functions and layout of the interface.
This sketch provides a foundation for further design iterations and development, allowing us to quickly validate and modify concepts before moving on to more advanced design tools.

GUERRILLA TESTING
As part of the VeinViral app design process, I conducted Guerrilla Testing
to quickly gather initial feedback and user experience. I focused on a key screen that is designed to present information about the user's blood donations. I conducted the study on a group of three people representing the target group of users - young, active and involved in the idea of blood donation.
Summary
Guerrilla Testing provided valuable tips regarding the usability and attractiveness of the application. Participants positively assessed the clarity and aesthetics of the interface, emphasizing the ease of navigation and intuitiveness of the solution. They noted the importance of clearly presenting information about the type and amount of donations, as well as the attractiveness of the badges and rewards system. They also suggested introducing additional gamification elements to further increase user engagement. These initial opinions are crucial for the further development of the application, allowing us to focus on the aspects most relevant to the young and dynamic target group.

HI-FIDELITY UI DESIGN

VEIN VIRAL name
VeinViral is a combination of two words: "vein" and "viral". In the context of a blood donor app, this name may suggest that the app is intended to go viral in the community, attracting a large number of users interested in donating blood. The word "vein" refers to the process of donating blood, while "viral" suggests that the app has the potential to spread quickly and become popular, especially among younger audiences.
In short, "VeinViral" could be interpreted as an application that aims to make the blood donation process more attractive and popular.
App Icon
The "Vein Viral" app icon is a combination of elements that reflect its main goals and values. A smiling drop of blood in fiery shades symbolizes both the blood donation and the viral energy that is at the heart of this app. The fiery colors add dynamism and emphasize that donating blood is both important and exciting.
The gaming emote adds an element of fun and engages the young audience the app is intended for. This is a subtle way to show that donating blood can also be cool and trendy.
Against the background of everything there is a heart symbol that adds a deeper meaning. The heart is a universal sign of love and care, emphasizing that every donation is an act of help and can save a life.
